Former Laibach striker moves to Latvia!

The Slovenian Luka Vodlan played for Olimpja Ljubljana in the win2day ICE Hockey League in three seasons. Now the young center forward is moving to Latvia.

Vodlan, who spent his youth at Czech club Liberec, made his debut for the Dragons from Ljubljana in 2022/23. In three seasons he made 54 appearances, in which he scored three goals and one assist.

Now the 22-year-old is taking on a new challenge and moving to Latvia. There he will play for HK Liepaja. Remarkable: Vodlan is one of only three legionnaires there. Liepaja is currently ranked 1st in the Optibet Hokeja League and has won its last six games.
