The future of Davis Vandane has been clarified: The Canadian defender has extended his contract with the Krefeld Penguins until 2028. In this way, the Seidenstädter team is securing the long-term services of one of the most dominant defensive players in the DEL2.
Vandane has been one of the top performers since his arrival in Krefeld. The 1.93 meter tall defender currently leads the DEL2 with 33 assists and is the top defender in the league with 43 scorer points. In his first season he was named DEL2 Defender of the Year for his outstanding performances.
Before his engagement in Krefeld, Vandane gained a lot of international experience, including in the ICEHL. There he played for the Dornbirn Bulldogs and HC Bozen and impressed with strong offensive production: the Canadian scored 74 points in 105 ICEHL games.
