Former Icehl Defender changes to the Carolina Hurricanes’ farm team!

Last year’s Icehl defender Jacob Friend leaves Europe and moves to the Chicago Wolves, the Carolina Hurricanes farm team.

Last season, the 28-year-old was under contract with the Pioneers Vorarlberg, who brought him from the British Eihl to the country. Friend played 24 games for the Vorarlberger before moving to the DEL2 at the end of the season at the Dresden Eislöwen. With the Saxons he celebrated the championship title and the promotion to the DEL.

Now the robust Defender returns to North America and wants to prove himself again in the AHL at the Chicago Wolves. These are the Farm team of the Carolina Hurricanes.
