Former AlpsHL striker Curtis Douglas has made his NHL debut. The 2.05 meter tall Canadian was on the ice for the first time in the world’s best ice hockey league at the Tampa Bay Lightning’s season opener.
Douglas, who stands out for his impressive physique and robust style of play, has had a remarkable development. In the 2020/21 season he played for the Steel Wings Linz in the AlpsHL on loan and collected twelve points in 16 games.
After his involvement in the AlpsHL, Douglas moved to the AHL, where he continued to develop and was eventually recommended for higher positions. Now the reward came with the first game in the Tampa Bay Lightning jersey.
