Fehervar clearly wins the Hungarian derby against Ferencvaros Budapest!

The first Hungarian derby at ICEHL level clearly goes to Hydro Fehervar AV19. In front of their home crowd, the team from Szekesfehervar won 5-1 over the guests from Budapest.

In front of almost 5,100 fans, Hydro Fehérvár AV19 clearly won the first Hungarian league derby in history. The home team went ahead early: Cheek scored in the power play, then Joel Messner increased after Richards’ preparatory work. In the middle third, three more goals within a few minutes ensured the preliminary decision. Budapest shortened the score shortly before the second break through Shaw, but that didn’t change the clear 5-1 home win.
