No fewer than ten goals were scored in the second game of the pre-playoff series between Hydro Fehervar AV19 and the Vienna Capitals. The hosts from Hungary won 7-3 and forced a playoff for the last place in the quarter-finals.
In a high-scoring game that was characterized by many penalties, Hydro Fehérvár AV19 ultimately prevailed with a clear score of 7:3, after the Capitals had taken the lead with 0:1, 1:2 and 2:3. After Joel Messner equalized 3-3 in the 40th minute, Fehérvár played big and scored four more goals in the final period. Fehérvár scored a total of five of her seven goals on special teams, four with the advantage and one with the minority. Not a single Hungarian player scored twice.
