For the third time this season, Hydro Fehérvár AV19 prevailed in the Hungarian derby. On Saturday the guests won 6:3 away after they had already won the first two encounters 6:1 and 6:3. In the table, Fehérvár improved to seventh place and is now four points ahead of eleventh-placed Budapest. In front of 2,400 fans, the home team got off to a dream start and took the lead after just 83 seconds. But the guests turned the game around in the first third. In the second period, FTC started strong again and equalized after just 12 seconds. But again Fehérvár responded promptly and took the lead again just 48 seconds later. After 25 minutes they had a two-goal lead for the first time, but Budapest didn’t give up and was able to reduce the score to 3-4 in the 29th minute. In the 43rd minute, however, István Terbócs scored the preliminary decision for Fehérvár, before Max Gerlach made everything clear in the 51st minute – he was the only player to score twice. With this success, Fehérvár ended its two-game losing streak, while Budapest suffered its fifth defeat in a row.
