During Game 6 of the playoff series in the Alps Hockey League between HC Meran and KHL Sisak, there were some unfortunate incidents outside the venue after the end of the game.
A group of fans threw cups at the Sisak team bus. There was also a small altercation in front of a nearby bar involving a few people.
The club says: “Fortunately, no one was injured or harmed in either incident. However, these behaviors in no way correspond to the values and self-image of our club. We therefore expressly distance ourselves from these actions and condemn any form of unsportsmanlike behavior. At the same time, we would like to apologize to the affected fans and the KHL Sisak team for the inconvenience caused and wish you a safe and pleasant journey home.”
