The former VSV striker
Corey Trivino has decided his sporting future: the attacker will remain with the
Polar bears Regensburg
and is entering his fifth season with the DEL2 club.
Top performers and leaders
Trivino has developed into a central figure in the team in recent years. With an impressive 259 points in four seasons, the Canadian underlines his enormous importance for the team. As assistant captain, he also takes on responsibility on and off the ice.
Eventful past in Europe
The striker has already played for several teams in Europe, including the
EC VSV. However, his time there was turbulent and was overshadowed by incidents off the ice. The contract with Trivino was terminated in the middle of the season.
Despite this past, Trivino has always impressed in sport, including at Znojmo in what was then the EBEL, and has now established himself in Germany.
