Ex-VSV coach Tuomie before returning to the coaching bench!

After leaving Villacher SV at the end of November last year, Tray Tuomie could soon be back in the fold. The 57-year-old German-American was released from the ICEHL and replaced by Pierre Allard. Since then it has been quiet around the experienced coach – but now there are increasing signs of a comeback.

Rumors about engagement in Freiburg
According to information from the “Eisblog”, Tuomie is about to return to coaching. Accordingly, he should be a hot candidate for the coaching position at the EHC Freiburg Wolves in the DEL2. An official confirmation is still pending, but the talks are said to be well advanced.

Experience from international leagues
Tuomie brings extensive experience from various European leagues. In addition to positions in Germany – including Augsburg and Nuremberg – he also recently worked in Austria and Italy. His time in the DEL and DEL2 in particular makes him an interesting candidate for Freiburg.

Freiburg is looking for new impulses
The wolves from Freiburg are currently looking for a breath of fresh air in the team. With Tuomie they could sign a coach who has both tactical know-how and international experience.

Decision probably soon
Whether Tuomie will actually move to Freiburg will likely be decided in the coming days. However, there is much to suggest that the former VSV coach will not remain without a job for long and will soon start a new chapter in his coaching career.
