Ex-ICEHL top scorer Yogan has a new employer!

Andrew Yogan, once one of the ICEHL’s top scorers, is continuing his career and joining the Stavanger Oilers in Norway for the remainder of the season.

The American looks back on an eventful career in the multinational league. In a total of six seasons, Yogan was on the ice for five different teams in the ICEHL. After joining HC Bozen (2016/17), he attracted lasting attention, especially at HC Innsbruck, where he established himself as a reliable scorer. Further strong positions followed at AV19 Székesfehérvár and the Dornbirn Bulldogs, where he recorded over 50 scorer points per season.

After a temporary detour to Slovakia and a short comeback with the Graz99ers, his path took him to Germany in the summer of 2023. Yogan played an outstanding DEL2 season with the Eisbären Regensburg, not only winning the championship title with 51 goals and 56 assists, but also the league’s top scorer.

The 34-year-old then moved to the Dresdner Eislöwen, with whom he managed to get promoted to the DEL, but personally he performed below expectations in the top German league. Yogan collected 13 points in 30 DEL games.

Now the next step follows: The former ICEHL top scorer wants to make a fresh start with the Stavanger Oilers and bring his well-known offensive qualities back onto the ice.
