Former ICEHL scorer Connor Ford is changing clubs within the Finnish Liiga. The 28-year-old American is leaving Jukurit and joining Lukko Rauma for the remainder of the current season.
Ford has been there since the start of the season Jukurite under contract and played 40 games there, in which he recorded 23 scorer points. The striker also served as assistant captain. In terms of sport, however, the season was disappointing for Jukurit and the team will most likely miss the playoffs.
With the change to Lukko Rauma Ford now joins a team that is currently fifth in the table and has the best chance of a successful postseason.
The attacker already made a name for himself in the ICEHL in the 2023/24 season. For HC Bolzano He played 59 games and collected a strong 41 points.
