Dolomites reports, the executing general building company Unionbau has announced that he would clarify the reasons and responsibilities for the defects found.
After strong thunderstorms, the first problems occurred two years ago. At that time, the work was limited to seals and minor repairs. In the meantime, however, more serious defects in the roof building have proven that require extensive renovation measures.
According to club president Jochen Schenk, the ongoing ice season is not in danger despite the upcoming construction work. The arena could be used without restrictions. The aim of the investigation that has now started is to determine who is responsible for the construction defects and how they can be remedied sustainably. However, the game operations of the HC Pustertal are not at risk, the hall is fully usable.
