As the “Kronen Zeitung” reports, the Graz99ers have extended their contract early with striker Tim Harnisch. The 24-year-old came to Styria from Red Bull Salzburg for the 2024/25 season and has continuously developed into an important support since then.
Most recently, Harnisch drew attention with a brace in the 4-0 win against Vorarlberg. Two goals in one game is not a given for the attacker. “It was the reward for hard work over the last few weeks,” the striker told the “Kronen Zeitung”.
This hard work began in the summer. Harnisch left nothing to chance and trained with a personal coach for four months without a break. He was constantly pushed by Paul Huber, with whom he has a long shared past. The two were already considered an unbeatable duo in Salzburg, and today they are once again teammates and even roommates in Graz. “We’re almost like twins. He knows exactly what tone he needs,” says Harnisch.
Despite the positive development, the striker remains self-critical: “I have to become more consistent and work on evaluating my chances.” To date, Harnisch has played 90 games for the Styrians and collected 21 points. Nothing is yet known about the exact contract term.
