Bad news for the fan scene around
EC VSV: Two fan clubs have announced their closure – within a very short space of time.
It starts with the traditional Blau-Weiß Villach fan club. The association of committed VSV supporters, founded in 2014, stopped working after twelve years. At the end of November 2025, the board had already announced that it would no longer be able to continue for personal and time reasons. The last hope lay at the general meeting on April 14, 2026 – but no new board was found, as the fan club announced in the official statement.
The next news followed shortly afterwards: the Blue Devils Villach are also resigning. The board decided to shut down the fan club for the 2026/27 season. It is currently uncertain whether and when a return will take place.
