The chapter has already ended: Richard Jarůšek is no longer part of the squad at Glasgow Clan. The 33-year-old Czech, who played 155 games for Orli Znojmo and the Pioneers Vorarlberg in the ICE Hockey League, was released by the club from the British EIHL.
In 28 games, Jarůšek only managed five points scorer – a result that was clearly not enough to meet the club’s expectations. The contract has now been terminated. This means that the experienced attacker is without a club again.
It was only in the summer that Jarůšek dared to move to Great Britain after previously being active in his Czech homeland. In the ICEHL he had established himself as a solid offensive player over the years, collecting a total of 89 points.
