The VSV achieved the first success in the second preparatory game. It was a step in the right direction for the eagles, even if coach Tray Tuomie was not entirely satisfied despite the clear result!
“In the end it was deserved because we played properly from the second third. In the first third we allowed too much. But it was a good start, many young played, nobody injured,” VSV coach Tray Tuomie told the small newspaper.
Goalkeeper Rene Swette only had to reach behind once, while the eagles were offensive several times. The decisive factor was the increase after the first break: from the second section, the VSV dominated the action and hardly left the host room.
Nevertheless, Tray Tuomie announced that we will recharge in the upcoming training days: “We will address some things carefully that I have not yet liked.” A test game double is waiting for the eagles next weekend: on Friday (4 p.m.) the VSV will meet DEL-Club Wolfsburg in Klagenfurt before the German second division is the next opponent in Landshut on Sunday (3 p.m.).
