An already agreed move for Canada’s striker Travis Barron has surprisingly fallen through. The offensive player, who was one of the most noticeable players for the Black Wings Linz in the ICE Hockey League last season, originally had the prospect of a contract abroad. However, this deal ultimately did not come about – this is what “LAOLA” reports.
Barron moved to Linz this season and quickly developed into one of the Upper Austrians’ most important offensive forces. In 47 games, the Canadian recorded a strong 42 points scorer, making him one of the most productive players in the team and quickly making a name for himself in the league.
The striker’s strong performances did not go unnoticed internationally. Several clubs from abroad are said to have shown interest in signing him. According to “LAOLA”, Barron is said to have already reached an agreement with a club. However, the transfer ultimately did not take place. It remains to be seen what will happen next for the striker and whether staying in the steel city is an option.
