An unusual case is currently causing a lot of discussion in the KHL: Joshua Ho-Sang and his club Salavat Yulaev Ufa have terminated the contract without the Canadian striker playing a single game. Even before the planned debut, the engagement is history again.
Ho-Sang was only signed on December 29, 2025 and was actually supposed to play a role in the squad for the current season. But that never happened: no deployment, no ice time, no official appearance – instead the amicable separation. Neither side has yet provided any information about the exact reasons. The forward also has over 50 NHL games under his belt!
