Contract termination: Ex-ICEHL scorer returns home!

Former ICEHL top scorer Sondre Olden has found a new club. After recently terminating his contract with Hockey Club La Chaux-de-Fonds, the Norwegian is returning to his homeland and joining Vålerenga Oslo. The 33-year-old striker has signed a contract with the traditional Norwegian club until the 2027/28 season.

Olden brings with him a wealth of international experience. In the ICE Hockey League he played 164 games for Medveščak Zagreb and the Vienna Capitals, in which he recorded an impressive 159 points. In Austria, the technically strong offensive player was one of the most noticeable import players of his time.

For the past five years, Olden was under contract with HC La Chaux-de-Fonds in the Swiss League. There he quickly developed into an absolute key player and shaped the club’s offensive with consistently strong performances.
