Marcel Mahkovec has been storming for Olimpija Ljubljana since 2023/24 and has been able to steadily increase his points tally since his debut season. There were 19 points in the first season, but a year later it was 23. In 2025/26 the previous best was with 17 goals and 35 points in 48 appearances.

With his 35 points, the youngster took fifth place within the team, but only two Dragons, Nicolai Meyer and TJ Brennan, had more goals. His plus/minus statistics of +15 also speak for themselves.
