HCB South Tyrol Alperia had to accept a 0-4 defeat against Mountfield HK on Sunday in the Sparkasse Arena. Two thirds developed an intensive and balanced duel in which the Foxes acted defensively and survived numerous outnumbered situations. Only in the final section did the Czechs consistently use their chances in the power play and pulled away with four goals.
After four CHL match days completed, Bolzano holds five points. It continues for the white-red internationally in October-first with the home game against Ingolstadt (October 8), then away in Luleå (October 14). Before that, however, the start of the Win2day Ice Hockey League is pending: On Friday, September 12th, Bolzano will receive the EC Red Bull Salzburg in the top game.
