CHL: EC Red Bull Salzburg narrowly loses to the Odense Bulldogs!

The last away game of the Champions Hockey League group stage ended for EC Red Bull Salzburg with a narrow 1:2 defeat at the Danish champions.

EC Red Bull Salzburg lost 2-1 away to the Odense Bulldogs in the Champions Hockey League. After the early deficit, Connor Corcoran equalized on a power play in the first period. In the second third, Salzburg weakened themselves with numerous penalties, survived periods of being outnumbered several times, but ultimately conceded 1:2 when the number was even. In the final period, the Red Bulls pushed hard for an equalizer and created several good chances, but failed to score.
