Capitals coach Constantine: “Since I’ve been here, all of our games have been close”

The Vienna Capitals had to admit defeat to the KAC 2:4 in Klagenfurt in the evening. Despite a strong 10 minutes in the second third, it wasn’t enough for the Caps to steal points from the Carinthian state capital.

Head coach Kevin Constantine summed up the encounter as follows:
“I thought our start to the first third was pretty good. But the KAC was able to take advantage of a mistake in our defense. We came right back in the middle third and were able to take the lead. After that, we had a lot of opportunities in a power play. If we had taken a 3-1 lead at that point, I think we would have won the game. That’s how the KAC was able to come back. We had a few opportunities to equalize in the third third. Since I’ve been here, all of our games have been close. If we continue to work on ourselves, we will “We can find a way to win games like that. I think we’ll get there.”
