In 2023/24, Canadian Adam Rockwood stormed in the win2day ICE Hockey League and was one of HC Innsbruck’s top scorers.
With 38 points, the now 30-year-old was the Tyroleans’ fifth-best points collector – the Haie were led at the time by current Graz99ers striker Kevin Roy, who had 58 points.
After a year at the Inn, both sides went their separate ways, Rockwood moved to Slovakia, where he played for Dukla Michalovce, Spisska Nova Ves and most recently HC Presov. There were briefly rumors about a return to the ICE – Rockwood was linked to the KAC – now the left-handed shooter is heading back to Sweden.
He already played for MODO Hockey in 2020/21, for the traditional AIK Stockholm in 2022/23, and now he’s back in the second Swedish league, the Allsvenskan. Rockwood joins BIK Karlskoga for the crucial phase of the regular season. With 79 points, the club from Örebro province is in third place in the table. There are eleven games left until the end of the season at the beginning of March.
