Linz icon Brian Lebler once again became the match winner for the Steinbach Black Wings Linz. In the duel with the leaders from Bruneck, the veteran scored both Linz goals and led the Stahlstadt team to a 2-1 win after extra time.

Linz had reason to celebrate: The Steinbach Black Wings defeated league leaders HC Falkensteiner Pustertal 2-1 after extra time. After a goalless start, Brian Lebler put the Upper Austrians in front in the 29th minute. Lipon equalized in the final third before Lebler secured the victory in overtime with a precise wrist shot – after a pass from Barron. Goalie Rasmus Tirronen impressed with a strong performance, while Linz missed several advantage opportunities.
