The Steinbach Black Wings Linz can take revenge for the away defeat in the second leg against Ferencvaros Budapest. For the third time in a row, the Linzers have turned around a deficit and are celebrating their fifth win in a row at home thanks to the outstanding Rasmus Tirronen.
The Upper Austrians are going into the international break as the team of the hour, after the start of the season was anything but optimal. Head coach Philipp Lukas wasn’t completely satisfied with the “Oberösterreichische Nachrichten” afterward: “I’m super happy about the result. What’s important is that we use this time to recover – mentally too – and ignore the ice hockey. It was a demanding first phase of the season.”
After five wins in a row, the international break begins next week before Brian Lebler and Co. travel to Klagenfurt on November 12th. The next home game will be on November 14th against the Pustertal Wölfe. Tickets for the game are available online at tickets.blackwings.at and at the box office.
