Bitter: Paul Sintschnig will be out for a long time!

Paul Sintschnig experienced a bitter afternoon on his debut for the senior national team against Slovakia on Thursday. In the final section, the 16-year-old VSV youngster unfortunately hit the boards with his shoulder first and sustained a shoulder injury.

According to initial information, Sintschnig will probably be absent from his club for around two months, according to the “Kleine Zeitung”. This means that the great talent not only misses the remaining games of the tournament in Landshut (against Germany and Latvia), but also the U20 World Cup in December in Bled.

KAC defender Clemens Unterweger also left due to thigh problems (precautionary measure). The ÖEHV team will no longer nominate any players for the remaining games in Landshut.
