Bitter: KAC top scorer is out for Derby!

The KAC will have to do without its top scorer in the first Carinthian ice hockey derby of the season on November 14th against EC VSV. According to “Kronen Zeitung”, bomber Nick Petersen will definitely be missing due to a foot injury.

The Canadian, who has already scored seven goals and eight assists in 13 games and was therefore instrumental in Klagenfurt’s success, is suffering from a hairline fracture in his right foot.

Petersen is currently still wearing a special plastic cast and reports persistent pain when walking. The striker is using the current national team break to fly to Canada for ten days and celebrate his daughter’s birthday, as the “Kronen Zeitung” reports.

His return to Klagenfurt is scheduled for November 18th. Only then will the foot be examined again in the hospital to determine whether the hairline crack has completely healed.
