Last weekend there were numerous Alps Hockey League teams in the Preseason mission. Among other things, the hockey Unterland Cavaliers secured the tournament victory at the home tournament, the Unterland Cup, and the Wipptal Broncos Weihenstephan prevailed against the competition at a tournament in Peiting. There are numerous preparatory games on the program again this week – a total of five from Tuesday to Thursday. There are three times the duel Alps Hockey League against Win2day Ice Hockey League.
At the Unterland Cup, the home side defeated HC Asiago in the final league euiling 2-1. The winning goal only fell through Marek Potsinok in the last minute of the game. Previously, the Cavaliers had beaten the HC Eppan Pirates 3-0 when the Lowerland Cup premier edition of the Unterland Cup. Asiago also prevailed against Eppan in the first game of the tournament, but just 4: 3. For HC Asiago, it was the first two preparatory games with regard to the adventure Alps Hockey League.
There was also a league final at the tournament in Peiting. In this, the Wipptal Broncos Weihenstephan kept the upper hand against HC Merano/O Pircher. In the semi-finals, both AHL teams celebrated narrow victories: The Broncos won 2-1 against SC Riessersee, Merano prevailed against host Peiting 3-2 after penalty shooting.
Bregenzerwald still flawless
At the weekend, the EC Bregenzerwald also continued its impressive preseason. At EV Füssen, the Vorarlbergers celebrated a 4-2 win-it was already the fifth success in the fifth test game. On the other hand, defending champion EK received a clear 1: 6 defeat by the Zeller Eisbären at Olimpija Ljubljana, whereby the game had to be canceled after around 30 minutes due to a defective gang. The Red Bull Hockey Juniors competed twice against the Stuttgart Rebels. While they won the first game 5: 4, they had to give up 2: 3 in the second game. Vizemeister HDD Jesenice started successfully in the Preseason: The Slovenes clearly prevailed in a goal -rich duel with Ligarival KHL SISAK with 8: 4.
Five games in the next three days

On Tuesday, defending champion EK receives the Zeller Eisbären HC Tiwag Innsbruck, and KHL SISAK also guests at the EC IDM heat pumps VSV.
