Zell wins derby against Kitzbühel
The EK Zeller Eisbären celebrated a 3-2 derby victory over Adler Stadtwerke Kitzbühel and climbed to second place in the table – level on points with leader Sisak. In front of 2,796 spectators, the first period remained goalless. In the second third, the guests from Kitzbühel initially took the lead in the power play. However, a double strike from Zell in the same period turned the game around. Kitzbühel came back again and equalized at the beginning of the final third. Four minutes before the end, Alexander Lahoda finally made the decision in favor of Zeller with the game-winning goal, which meant they were also able to win the third derby.
