The EKZ presents the next new addition. With the Slovenian Zan Jezovsek, the Zellers have secured the services of a real goalscorer. The national player knows the Alps Hockey League and last played in Germany – but one thing runs through his career: goals, goals, goals!
Zan Jezovsek most recently played in the German top league with the Lindau Islanders. There he scored 69 goals and added 75 more in two seasons. The striker also knows the Alps Hockey League very well and played for Laibach and Jesenice. In 314 games he scored 162 goals and 136 assists, for a total of 298 points. Impressive numbers that underline his scoring qualities.
The left-handed shooter can play on both wings, is physically robust, has experience and a lot of penetration and knows where the goal is. He has already won the Alps Hockey League twice, was the league’s top goalscorer once and within the team several times. There are also several Slovenian championships and World Cup participations with his home country. He knows both how to win and how to be a top performer abroad – this combination is enormously valuable for the Eisbären.

CAREER
Zan Jezovsek was born on April 22, 1997 in Celje. Through HK Celje he made the jump to the INL and also various youth national teams. In 2016 he moved to Jesenice and made his debut in the senior national team. Jezovsek also played first-class with Laibach in 2021/22, after which he went hunting for goals again for Jesenice. Most recently, he was the best and second best internal scorer in two seasons at Lindau.
