In the only Tuesday game of the Alps Hockey League, the Red Bull Hockey Juniors meet Hafro Cortina Hockey at home. With a point win in the first duel of the season, Salzburg could regain the lead in the table. The last two direct encounters went to the Italians.
After four wins in a row, the Juniors suffered a defeat in the derby in Zell am See on Saturday. Due to Sisak’s two successes at Bregenzerwald, Salzburg slipped to second place in the table. They could make up for this loss of place with a point win in the home game against Cortina.
The Italians lost 3-0 to Ritten at the weekend and remained without a goal for the second time this season. Head coach Gaber Glavic’s team is currently in ninth place. Cortina lost their last six away games. The team from Italy won the last two direct duels.
