In the only Tuesday game of the Alps Hockey League, the Red Bull Hockey Juniors meet HDD Jesenice at home. With a win after regular time, Salzburg could take the lead in the table again. In the first duel of the season, the Austrians celebrated a shutout away from home.
The Juniors are currently on an impressive run, winning eight of their last nine games. In the end they clearly prevailed against Val Gardena and Unterland. The Red Bulls are in second place in the table, three points behind leaders KHL Sisak. With another win after regular time they would climb back to the top.
The Slovenians, currently in eleventh place, have alternated victory and defeat in the last five games. On Saturday Jesenice had to admit defeat in Kitzbühel. While the Juniors celebrated a confident 3-0 away win in the first duel of the season, Jesenice was able to win the last two appearances in Salzburg.
