HC Meran/o caused the Croatian top team KHL Sisak to stumble in the only Saturday game. After four defeats in a row, it was the South Tyroleans’ second victory within a few days. Sisak, on the other hand, suffered his first defeat after four successes in a row.
Meran/o got off to a perfect start: Samuel Claesson took the lead after just four minutes, and a little later Filip Cruseman increased the lead to 2-0 in the power play. In the final period, David Gellon made the final score 4-0 in the power play and thus secured the Merano team’s deserved home win.
