The first extension for the coming season is fixed – number 23 will also play in blue and yellow in the 2026/27 season. Christian Jennes’ qualities suit every team well. Christian Jennes will be playing his sixth season for the EKZ. His energetic playing style characterizes him as well as his ability to score special goals. He can be on the ice in all situations and was an essential part of the reliable second line of strikers this year. He’s just as good at a fine blade as he is at pure commitment – playful class combined with a fighter’s heart, a combination that you definitely want to continue to have in your team. The fact that he is now firmly integrated into the club is reflected not only in his leadership role in the team, but also in the fact that he is also a young coach for the juniors.

CAREER
The Carinthian native was born on May 21, 1997 in Villach. He made it to the first league through the EC VSV youth team. After further positions in Feldkirch and Innsbruck, Jennes moved to the Eisbären in 2021. He has won three titles there so far and played 184 games.
