Red Bull Hockey Juniors – EK Die Zeller Eisbären 4:5 (2:1, 1:2, 1:2)

The Zeller Eisbären concluded the Master Round with an impeccable record of eight wins from eight games. In the derby, the Juniors initially led 2-0, but the guests reduced the deficit before the first break. After the restart, the defending champions temporarily turned the game around before Lanzinger made it 3-3 in the 37th minute. The game remained open in the final third: First Tomazevic scored to give Zell another lead, then double goal scorer Eliseev equalized to make it 4:4. Just under nine minutes before the end, Rappold scored the decisive goal for the away win. As the winner of the intermediate round, Zell am See has the first right to pick on Sunday, after which the juniors choose their quarter-final opponent.

In the direct duel for third place, Asiago celebrated a clear success. Over 1,800 fans saw an offensive spectacle from the home team.
