Alpshl: Bregenzerwald fetches the first win of the season against Kitzbühel!

In the only Wednesday game of the Alps Hockey League, the EC Bregenzerwald was able to celebrate its first win of the season. The Vorarlbergers prevailed 2-1 against the Adler Stadtwerke Kitzbühel in front of a home crowd. Philipp Pöschmann became the match winner with a double pack.

After two away defeats, Bregenzerwald gave his home debut in the game against Kitzbühel on Wednesday. After a goalless first third, the home side took the lead in the 29th minute: KEC goalie Tom McCollum was adjusted at the shot by Philipp Pöschmann. Just four minutes later, the Tyrolean equalized, Mai Crnkic was left alone in front of the goal, he defeated Lorenz Widhalm in the second attempt. But only a little later the Vorarlbergs presented again, Pöschmann hit the short corner in the power play. The guests who collected six punishments tried to compensate for again. Bregenzerwald brought the narrow lead over time and celebrated the first win of the season.
