AlpsHL: Asiago celebrates away win at HC Unterland

HC Migross Asiago celebrated a 4-1 away win at the Hockey Unterland Cavaliers in the only Wednesday game of the Alps Hockey League. All five goals in the game came between the 30th and 40th minutes of the game. It was the sixth win in the twelfth game of the season for the seventh-place team, while Unterland is still at the bottom of the table with just two wins.

In an initially even game, it took until the 31st minute before the guests took the lead through Nathan Garau. And after that it happened in quick succession, as the guests pulled away to 4-0 with 56 seconds to go before the end of the second period. 14 seconds before the end of the third, Unterland finally scored their first and only goal. So all five goals in the game were scored in just ten minutes of play, because Unterland had significantly more of the game in the final period, but failed to score any more goals and in the end – like in the first duel of the season on October 7th in Asiago – suffered a 1:4 defeat.
