Financial problems cannot be solved
Outgoing President Pit Gleim had already pointed out the precarious economic situation. Despite large personal investments and intensive efforts, it was not possible to create a stable financial basis for the professional business. A lack of sponsorship money and the difficult overall economic situation made it increasingly impossible to continue.

The developments had already become apparent: the players were informed early on about the uncertain future and were given permission to look for new clubs. A clear sign that there is hardly any internal belief in a rescue.
