After the violent riots surrounding a preparatory game in August 2025, HCB Südtirol has now drawn clear consequences – this is reported by “Sportnews”.
There were violent scenes at the traditional Summer Classic tournament when around 60 masked supporters of the Swiss club EHC Kloten stormed the Bolzano Ultras fan meeting. The situation escalated within a very short time: physical altercations broke out before the police were able to intervene and separate the groups.
But the series of violence did not end there. Later, the same fans caused chaos in their accommodation and damaged parts of the hotel. A police officer was even injured. The Swiss supporters were finally taken out of the country under police escort.
After months of investigation, the consequence followed: a total of 29 Kloten fans involved received stadium bans. They are banned from attending sporting events in Italy for the next three years. The measure was imposed by the responsible security officer and is intended to send a clear signal against violence in sport.
