Big relief for the Vienna Capitals: Striker Senna Peeters is about to make his competitive debut in the Vienna jersey. The 23-year-old international will make his first appearance for the Caps tomorrow in Feldkirch after having to take a month-long break due to an injury.
Peeters moved from EC-KAC to Vienna in the summer, but suffered an upper body injury in a friendly and has been out since then. Now the attacker is fit again and ready for his comeback at ICEHL level.
The offensive man already has plenty of league experience. Before his time at KAC, Peeters was also under contract with HC Innsbruck. He has played a total of 150 games in the ICE Hockey League so far and was able to record 74 scorer points. He also played 16 games for the Austrian national team.
