Dramatic scenes took place in the Heidi Horten Arena. The game was canceled after Jordan Murray suffered a medical emergency.
KAC defender Jordan Murray drove off the ice shortly before the end of the first period and collapsed in front of the players’ bench. Numerous paramedics immediately rushed to help and the 33-year-old had to be resuscitated, as Radio Kärnten reports. The broadcaster also reports that no external influence was apparent and that it was likely a medical emergency with circulatory problems.
Murray was then given IV fluids and taken to the hospital. The game, which is now completely irrelevant, was canceled. Further information about the defender’s current state of health is currently unknown.
