The long -time goalkeeper of the ICE Hockey League, Olivier Roy, has found a new club. The 33-year-old Canadian joins the Lahn-Nahn team from Rivière-Du-Loup and returns to his home country.
Roy stood in his European career for Laibach, VSV, FeiRvár AV19 and most recently the HC Pustertal between the posts. At the end of last season he moved to the DEL2, where he ran for the Eisbären Regensburg.
An Instagram post Roys recently caused a sensation, in which he confronted his former employer HC Pustertal with a number of serious allegations. The association reacted immediately and rejected the allegations in a statement.
With his commitment to Rivière-Du-Loup, Roy is now starting a new chapter and after several years leaves the European professionals towards Canada.
