The Löwen Frankfurt from the German Ice Hockey League (DEL) have parted ways with their head coach Tom Rowe after the 8-0 home debacle against Ingolstadt.
The twelfth place in the table announced that the 69-year-old American had been released with immediate effect. Rowe, who only came to Main in May 2024, has a history as a coach in the top Austrian league. During the 2018/19 season he took over the Black Wings Linz, where he was also behind the gang in the following season.
The 8-0 defeat against Ingolstadt was the lowest point of the season so far. Rowe previously worked for the Nuremberg Ice Tigers in Germany. The Löwen Frankfurt are now working hard to sign a successor as soon as possible in order to initiate the sporting turnaround.
