and joins a new club in Finland. As has now been announced, the strong offensive defender is moving
Kiekko Espoo into the Finnish
Liiga, where ex-VSV coach Jyrki Aho works as a trainer.
VSV came away empty-handed
Just a few weeks ago that was the case
EC VSV as a possible buyer for Corcoran. According to media reports, the club from Villach had already shown interest in the Canadian defender for a long time and was targeting him as a reinforcement for the offensive from the blue line.
However, the player has now decided to move to Finland and has therefore ruled out the ICEHL as his next career stop.
Strong offensive defender
Corcoran impressed in Salzburg above all with his offensive qualities. With 11 goals and 18 assists in 47 games, he was one of the highest-scoring defenders in the league and thus also made himself interesting internationally.
By moving to Finland, he is now taking the next step in one of the strongest European leagues.
