Now the striker changes to the Iowa Heartlanders, which were only founded in 2021 and act as the Echl-F Armteam of the Minnesota Wild. For Capannelli, this change means the first professional station outside of Italy.

After his time in the Canadian university league, the talented winger switched directly to Europe in 2021 and quickly made a name for himself. Most recently, he shone at the Wipptal Broncos, where he was one of the absolute top performers with 81 points in 48 games last season.
