ICEHL preview: For Pustertal and Graz it’s already about match pucks today!

The Moser Medical Graz99ers and HC Falkensteiner Pustertal – both teams are so far undefeated in the 2026 playoffs of the win2day ICE Hockey League – can each secure match pucks in their semi-final series on Thursday in front of their home crowd. The Styrian duel against Hydro Fehérvár AV19 will be broadcast live on ORF Sport+.

Graz got off to a lightning start on Tuesday in Székesfehérvár: Manuel Ganahl took the lead after just eleven seconds. With a clear 5-1 win, the regular round winner extended their series lead to 2-0 and is now returning to the once again sold-out Merkur Ice Stadium. The Styrians recently celebrated seven wins in a row in front of their home crowd. Fehérvár suffered two defeats in a row for the first time in the current playoffs – and also lost the last three away games in Graz.

HC Pustertal is also still undefeated in the current playoffs. The South Tyroleans did not concede a goal in the semi-final series against Olimpija and won both duels 3-0. Yesterday’s game in Ljubljana was characterized by numerous tough encounters – a total of 236 penalty minutes were awarded, the fourth most in league history (see story). The Wolves have won their last six home games in the once again sold out Intercable Arena and also won the most recent four duels in Bruneck against Olimpija.
