EC Red Bull Salzburg is pleased to have the two young players Lukas Hörl and Mathias Böhm on the team in the 2026/27 season. Both players have current contracts and want to offer themselves for bigger tasks in the Red Bulls’ professional team.
Lukas Hörl is developing well
The defender Lukas Hörl was born in Salzburg, comes from his own offspring and won the title in the U20 ICE Young Stars League with the Red Bull Hockey Juniors in 2021. A season later, in 2021/22, he made his debut in the Salzburg professional team in one game and then increased his appearances year after year with more and more appearances. Last season, the 22-year-old, who also had to cope with setbacks with two injury breaks lasting several weeks, played 37 games and scored 2 goals and 2 assists. With the Red Bulls, Hörl has so far won four titles in the win2day ICE Hockey League.
After a year of learning, Mathias Böhm wants more
The 22-year-old striker Mathias Böhm came to Salzburg from the Vienna Capitals last year and played 24 games with the professional team. The Klosterneuburg native also played 15 games with the Red Bull Hockey Juniors in the Alps Hockey League, scoring 3 goals and 9 assists. At the beginning of the year, Böhm was awarded to the Pioneers Vorarlberg in the win2day ICE Hockey League and scored 2 goals in 7 games. Then, unfortunately, he was stopped by an injury and had to end the season early.
The Red Bulls would like to thank both players for their commitment and performances last season and look forward to the next season together.
