The “Milan Ice Fiera Arena” is to be a modern, albeit temporary, home. The hall will accommodate around 4,000 spectators and will be completed in October 2026. With construction costs of around five million euros, it is a temporary solution that is designed to last around three years – until a permanent arena is built.

Despite its temporary nature, the facility is intended to meet the highest standards. The plans include, among other things, eight changing rooms, a dedicated athletes’ area and a state-of-the-art ventilation and dehumidification system. In addition to ice hockey, para-ice hockey, figure skating and curling will also have optimal conditions. In addition, the arena is clearly geared towards youth work and popular sports.

In parallel to the infrastructure project, Milan is also pushing forward its sporting ambitions. The newly formed “Hockey Club Milano” is expected to enter the ICEHL as early as the 2026/27 season. A corresponding concept has already been presented to those responsible for the league, and a concrete financial plan should follow by the end of April.
